Our son is turning 13 in october....

The adventure is coming of the teen age years with our oldest son... he is turing 13 on october 10th. OMG

Any suggestions or warnings (lol) of the times to come. Right now we are seeing the stubborness and also the "i know it all" attitude coming through. through we can say he such a sweet young man at heart... just something is changing. we can only think its the TEENAGE virus or something, lol

We have been struggling with him, with his homework- giving him a little lee way for him to turn around and not follow through with turning his work in or saying he did and he didnt. uhhhh so frustrating.

But we are moving forward and hoping for the best and praying for the Lord to work in his heart and lead him on the correct paths, that he does not stray. so scary. because as a teen ager so many tempatations come your way.

just last night, he was at the gas station.. getting us a drink, and he gets in the car he begins telling me.. about how he had added a little slushy to the moutain dew without the cashier seeing, he thought he was so cool smiling and all...
my response, as any mother was- really so you thought that was a good idea? you thought that was okay? they have video cameras? um God sees everything? did you know that was being deceiving?
his response, was i just added a little? he didnt see it?
uhhhh- TEMPTATIONS I TELL YOU- JUST THE BEGINNING...

God help us.
